Expanded Email for Hosting and WebSite Tonight(R)!

We are just about to start updating Shared Hosting and WebSite Tonight plans with new email storage limits that include more flexibility than ever. All customers, including those with free add-on plans, will have expanded storage limits AND they'll be able to allot the storage space to the email accounts at their discretion.

The new storage limits will be:
Economy Shared Hosting: 100 email addreses with 100 MB total storage
Deluxe Shared Hosting: 500 email addresses with 500 MB total storage
Premium Shared Hosting: 1000 email addresses with 1 GB total storage

Economy WebSite Tonight: 1 email accounts and 100 MB email storage
Deluxe WebSite Tonight: 200 Email Accounts and 500 MB email storage
Premium WebSite Tonight: 400 Email Accounts and 1 GB email storage

Upgrades should be complete for all users by mid-March.

The Serbian top level domain (TLD) will launch on the 10 of January 2008. The cool thing with this domain is that it's so easy to create domain hacks.

What actually is a domain hack?
It's a domain name where both the domain and the top level domain spell out a word together. Some examples are

* mon.itor.us - monitor us
* adv.erti.se - advertise
* bjornb.org - Björn Borg
* cr.yp.to - crypto
* blo.gs - blogs

What's so cool with .RS?
A lot of words are ending with the letters RS like advertisers, adventurers, webmasters, domainers, bloggers (the list can be as long as you like ).

Some time ago I wrote about getting a dot EDU link to your site (see this post) and now it's time for a follow up (well actually just a short tips).

If you want a link to your site from a page hosted on a dot EDU domain name, then you can get your own blog at The University of Alabama. It's free for now, but I don't know if it's going to stay that way or not

I got a blog for Xavier Media just to test the service and I'm happy with the Wordpress Mu installation they are using. Unfortunately they get a lot of spamblogs signing up and you can't install any of your own plugins
