The Entrecard shop

Have you ever purchased anything in the Entrecard shop? If you have then you've also noticed that the service you get varies a lot between the different sellers. For example most of the 125×125 banners we use at xaviermedia.com where created by Eddy from www.magpieszone.com with amazing service level and quality of the services delivered, but when you order writing services, advertising, site reviews or even just blog comments you should stay alert.
Unfortunately in most cases you get extremely poor service when it comes to response times. Even when the sellers are stating something like "delivery with 3 days" they take way more time then that. It's like they just want your credits and then never even care about whether or not they give you the service you've ordered.
Some sellers even blame the buyers for their late responses:
The reviews sold out very quickly, quicker than I had expected, and I am trying to get them done as quickly as possible, in the order which they were received.
Come on, you can do better! You can set a maximum number of units to sell in the Entrecard shop so you should set a number you think is realistic and stop blaming the people who send you Entrecard credits!
Is it really realistic to sell 171 items? Maybe if you work fast but the sellers should set more realistic values to make sure they don't get too much work.
Entrecard are working on an escrow system where the seller wont get any credits until they've delivered what their selling:
We're implementing escrow soon whereby the seller doesn't receive the credits until the buyer marks the item as received.
I don't think that will solve the problem completely. I think a rating system where you can rate the buyers on response time, quality of the service delivered and the overall experience is needed too.
With a rating system sellers will do more to get a good rating since other buyers will see the ratings. If only escrow is used they can still deliver their services slow and no other buyers will ever find out that they're buying from a slow seller or maybe even a seller providing poor services.
I've suggested the rating system to Entrecard, but they didn't seem interested at all. If they don't do anything about this problem the Entrecard shop will soon be dead since all the buyers will leave
. I like the idea with Entrecard where you can earn credits on advertising and then select if you want to buy stuff or spend the credits on advertising on other sites.
I'm not going to spend any more credits in the shop until Entrecard implement the escrow system AND a rating system!

I have had no problems with the shop but I ask to be able to sell in the shop and still nothing. So I don't know what is going on with that.
I do agree that a rating system would be great.

I also wanted to sell stuff in the shop, but I never heard anything from them about that so I guess they don't want more sellers

I've been through the shop, but nothing was interesting to me at the time. So I myself have not experience using the shop yet.
On the rating system, I think that this idea is great, and I wonder why Entrecard won't add it. It would make the whole website more interesting, and it can put a little more user control in it.
